"Don't blink. Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. They are fast, faster than you can believe. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink. Good luck."
Blink is one of the better episodes of Doctor Who, in part because it completely diverts from the usual formula. The Doctor and his companion (Martha Jones during this time frame) barely make an appearance in the episode at all, but his influence is there in a big way. Like a minor god outside the system, manipulating events, sort of. The cryptic warnings and instructions the Doctor leaves for Sally Sparrow embedded in DVD Eater Eggs are brilliant, as is the way he orchestrates the messages delivered to her from the past.
Grilled chicken salad with mixed greens and cheese letters. Dressing on the side in the MiniDipper, with crackers and jalapeno cheese spread and cut plums to round out the meal.
To decorate the plums, music note picks and Ten's black framed hipster glasses.
And if you haven't seen it (or just want to see it again), a clip of the Doctor's description to Sally Sparrow of the Weeping Angels:
